Batardiere Les Nöels de Montbenault 2020

Thomas planted this 0.25ha plot in 2014. This is the first wine made on this site. Montbenault is one of the most beautiful places in Anjou, and the plot is at the top of the hill. It is made up of gray and blue schists, as well as a lot of rhyolite, a silica-rich red volcanic rock. The wine spent 8 months in stainless steel and then 4 months in old 500L barrels. No additional SO2.
